Today, August 17, 2015, is my 19th wedding anniversary to my wife, Frances (pictured). I wrote a song for her last year about the night we met. That fateful encounter happened at a college hangout called the Elbow Room, in Columbia, SC, during a Hootie & The Blowfish performance in 1991. I would like to share it with the Wattpad community on our special day. When I wrote it, I had the rhythm and tempo of John Mellencamp's "Jack & Diane" in my head. This is my first post on Wattpad.
