After the tragic loss of his husband, Scott is given a fresh start. As Empires starts, he makes it his mission to avoid Jimmy as much as possible. He worries that Jimmy hates him for not being able to save him during the 3rd life battle. All Jimmy wants to do is see Scott, but every time they make eye contact, Scott turns away quickly and leaves. Jimmy can't figure out why Scott's avoiding him and tries to talk to him. He starts to loose hope, but something happens that changes his mind. Could this be the beginning of something new? Grian needs to hunt down a monster in the forest, a creature of unexplainable powers that he has been instructed to capture. But instead of a ferocious beast, he meets Mumbo, a scared vampire that has no control over his powers or his bloodlust. It's Grian's heart against his head, love against logic. Mumbo doesn't seem like the bloodthirsty creature that all the stories describe him as, but can Grian really trust him?

Scar escaped them. He broke free from their curse in season six. But the freedom is short lived, as Scar's burden returns. He begins to lose control of himself, lost in power, and it's up to Bdubs to make a choice. Return Scar to normal, or continue to stay loyal to the mayor's side. The choice is harder than Bdubs realizes. Love is vexing, isn't it? - I only ship the Minesonas, and if either Scar or Bdubs claim to be uncomfortable with shipping, I will take this story down.

A story based back in season six, around mid way through the demise game as this was when I started writing it (I've only decided I may as well submit it here now). It doesn't really follow the timeline but still makes for a pretty ok slow burn. Ok. So, hear me out. There are like no stories of this ship, and this is SUCH an underrated ship. As said above it's set in season six as that's when I started writing this and have only now decided that I may as well post it as it's become pretty fun for me to write.
