[✓] ∥ It all happened in a split second. One moment I was on his back, and the next one I was lying on the ground, watching the man who would be responsible for my possible disabilities run away. The woman was sitting and had her back against a near-by wall, and from what I could see, her eyes were wide and she was shaking. I would be too, if I wasn't paralyzed. Literally. A few hours later, well, just about 20 seconds in reality, she slowly stood up and observed me with horror in her eyes for a few moments. I looked back at her, seeing as that was the only thing I could do to let her know I was still alive. "Dear lord, child, what have you done?" She whispered, looking down at me. "I need..." I could barely choke the words out. "I need you to call the ambulance." Copyright © 2014 by funkystyles

Strict parents make rebellious teens. Jade Phillips wasn’t what everyone wanted her to be. She was supposed to be an honor roll student, polite, and most of all, well-behaved. Instead she has a juvie rap sheet as long as her arm, a liver that has handled more alcohol than most Irish men, and a partying habit that keeps her hungover on weekdays, and she doesn’t care. She wasn’t going to change for anyone, or so she thought. Her father is remarrying, and the family dynamic isn’t the only thing he wants to change; he wants Jade to change. His future wife, the senator of Virginia, is running for re-election and she cannot afford to have Jade’s unruly behavior ruin her reputation. That means no more drugs, alcohol, partying, and most of all, no more arrests. Addiction. Blake Adams wasn't looking for an addiction. He wasn't out hitting up drug dealers or spending his Friday night gambling. No, it hit him full force in a beautiful pair of green eyes, hiding a dark and heavy past. His mate. Delilah Winley, AKA Sunny Taylor, was afraid. Her brother had rescued her from that wretched man who dared lay his hands on her, but could moving to a new town and changing their names keep her safe, or would the man who gave her nightmares find her and finish what she started. And how could she live a normal life when she could barely stay conscious when someone touched her, the fear making her panic? She was in a new town with strangers who were normal. Social. So how would she survive it? If only she knew. --- STORY WAS WRITTEN WHEN I WAS LIKE 14 and I didn't finish it, maybe one day but proceed with caution!
