Venus is a very strong human being; stronger than many think that she even can be. However, everyone has their limits, including Venus. With the fight between the grounders and the sky people now coming to an end, and a new one beginning with the people of mount weather, Murphy and Venus will need to stay together, no matter what the cost. But Venus still hasn't forgiven Murphy for everything he has done. Nevertheless, she begins to realize that they are both damaged, broken beyond repair without the other to piece them back together. And, whether they like it or not, the next few events in their story may result in more than just a few cuts and bruises on them both. Why? Because war is coming.

Niall Horan was visiting the States from Ireland on a school field trip. It's summer, so they decided to visit Denver, Colorado. Hoping they would enjoy a nice peaceful vacation for a whole month. They were far behind paradise, as days crept by. One by one each of Niall's friends either go missing, or mysteriously "drown." Niall thinks they are just little mistakes and thinks nothing of it after he has finished the mourning of his friends. The leader Zayn, can't detemine whether or not he should go with the plan to eat little Niall. He contemplates and instead falls in love with him, how will Niall react? Zayn wasn't always like this, he had friends, a future, a family, what went wrong? Will the other three decline Zayn's love for Niall and instead eat him? Niall was only hoping to find a good vacation, instead he's now the center piece of a delicious feast.

Venus Bartone is one of the 100, the people that were put into the skybox because they were too young to be executed. She was put there because her knowledge on building weapons out of next to nothing was too "dangerous". After being told that she was a danger to the remainder of mankind for almost nine years, she started to believe it. And she hated it. But when her abilities are needed on the ground, she realizes that what she knows and is able to do is not a sin, it's a gift. After making a certain young man a knife, she becomes closer with the boy that everyone seems to be afraid of. They had more in common than most people. However, she soon begins to realize that Murphy might be her downfall, but could also be her savior. She just doesn't care. The only problem is that everyone has a skeleton in the closet, a demon that hides under the bed waiting to destroy anything in it's path. And both Murphy and Venus have some of the darkest demons known to man.
