Get in. A knife to the throat. A bow on an arrow. A sword through armour. Get out. My two biggest advantages: I'm fast and small. I can sprint across open ground with ease.  Slip into a crowd and lose persurs in a matter of seconds. I have never been caught. I cannot be caught. I have to many enemies. But there is one person I cannot beat. I am the Assassin. This is my mistake. Completed as of January 24th, 2015.

Dark things swarm around the city. Newspaper-boys are lured into houses, strange mansions whisper into musicians' ears, old men tell tales of vampires, drums boom in the Savannah, children worship false gods and priests begin to question the very foundations of the universe. And all this has something to do with a girl who has no name and a cat whose name nobody knows. A dark, surreal adventure, this book is my flawed tribute to weird-fiction and the writers who made me. Remember that story from Hercules? The story of Meg and how she sold her soul to Hades? We kind of did the same thing... See, I loved this guy named Drew but he was dying. Desperately, I asked help from this man and he promised me that Drew would live-- as long as I agreed to his bargain. Dumb as a rock, I accepted his offer. Then it turns out Drew loved another girl. So here I am in the 'Underworld', rotting and heart-broken, because what I gave, in exchange for Drew's life, was my soul.

I was never appreciated for who I was. I was tossed aside and left to rot for a mistake I made many years ago, a mistake that haunted me my entire life. I thought he would be the one to save me, how wrong I was. My story is not an easy one but it is one that shaped me to be the person who I am today. *Extended summary inside* ******** DISCLAIMER... This book was written a while back ago when I was younger and did not understand proper English grammar. It is not the best written book out there but I hope that does not discourage you from reading the book. Although it is not the best, it does have a somewhat decent, yet a little cliche, storyline.

Gentle ripples passed over her, a watery caress that contrasted with her growing unease. Blinking slowly, Eliza tried to make sense of her situation. She found herself submerged, an unexpected aquatic world unfolding around her. Panic crept in as her ankles remained bound, immobilized as if by an unseen force. An attempt to move her arms yielded no results - they were ensnared in an unyielding grip. Seaweed, sinuous and trailing, wrapped itself around her legs with an almost possessive hold. Every movement was thwarted by the constricting tendrils, her struggles mirrored by the rippling sea plants. An urgency to breathe set in, her chest tightening in a desperate plea for air. But the very element that should sustain her had become a stifling barrier. A strand of slimy seaweed clung to her lips, smothering her mouth and nose. It seemed as if the water itself had turned against her, a sinister transformation that threatened to consume her.
