This is my personal vent story. It contains random: •thoughts •feelings •poems •me-quotes •responses to comments •etc I can guarantee it is entertaining to some extent. I would be personally flattered if somebody read this.

Leah has lived in the forest forever. That's what she thinks, anyway; any remainder of a previous life is floating just out of her reach of recognition. She doesn't think about it much. What with staying alive, and trying to keep her companions (Caroline, Alex, and Emmi) alive, philosophizing about from whence she came isn't the first thing on her mind. It's not important, anyways, she thinks. The forest is safe. There's always something to eat, even if it is a little bitter. The four of them have lived without incident in the rotten hollow formed by a fallen tree for seasons. But the forest is about to get a lot less safe and a lot more sinister, and it's going to take everything Leah has just to keep going.

Two countries, prepared to go to war after the murder of the beloved princess. Two girls, unlikely friends prepared to do anything to save their countries from the terrible loss of war, even commit treason on the highest order. With Addela and Alodie working together, where will their loyalties lie? In their countries, or in each other?
