The second book in the Secret Women of WWII. Captain William Richardson has been with the 506th Airborne since D-Day. But he has a dark secret. William is actually Lila Owens. Posing as a man was the only way to become a paratrooper, it was easy at first. Now the young woman is in the thick of it all. Will someone discover her secret, or will she die before anyone knows. Largely based off of the Mini Series "Band of Brothers." Some fiction has been added.

Following the soldiers of Easy Company during the second world war, we see into the life of a young woman from their perspective as they befriend her and fight along side her to win the war and stay alive. As Joe Liebgott finds himself falling in love with her, he's faced with fear, constantly worrying he's going to lose her. Rated mature for strong language and graphic violence This story is in no way meant to be offensive or disrespectful to the real veterans. This is a work of fiction based off the miniseries. Not everything in this story is true to the series. Also, I apologize if anything is historically inaccurate. It's my first story and I'm trying my best but I couldn't find information for everything. Liebgott in this story is based off the Liebgott from the series who was a Jewish cab driver from San Francisco, not the real Joe Liebgott who was a Catholic barber from Oakland.
