They say your eyes are the windows to the soul. If that were true, Farren's eyes would present you with a black abyss of murderous evil. The Devil's Daughter is seeking power by relentlessly plaguing the kingdoms, and the nation of Blue is next on her hit list. In a world where eye color is linked to your magical capabilities, the lives of the heterochromia are nonexistent. Hazel eyes are a sin, and birthing a child that goes beyond the colors of Grey, Blue, Brown or Green is punishable by death. They each have a specific powerful strength, and a combination of the four nations would surely mean the end for all. The birth of a girl possessing quad-colored eyes struck fear into the hearts of everyone, and rightly so. Farren strives to impress her evil mentor, continuously searching for that single malicious endeavor that will earn her his pride. When she finds it, she stops at nothing. Unfortunately, when you're the evil of the world, good unceasingly will attempt to fight back - and you have to respond. Unyielding murder is an option, and merciless rage is another, but what happens when good fights unfairly? How can you be the evil you're made out to be when good is gradually sneaking into your soul, slyly crawling in through something you've never encountered before? Being evil is difficult, especially when you might not be the baddest bad there is...

(Bfflad- Best friends for life and death) Dear Reader, Let's start at the beginning shall we? I died. Oh no, not one of these stories again where someone angelic and heroic saves the damsel in distress. If only I was that lucky. My heart stopped beating. My lungs stopped working, my soul began to lift away... And then I was saved by a beautiful man with a kind heart and sparkles sprinkled around his head in a golden halo. A cunning, dazzling smile etched his angled features and his hair lay perfectly on his head like...black, sinful layers of pure cynical distrusting evil. Evil that was just waiting to onset a innocent girl as myself and allow her a short amount of time of happiness, and then finish her off when she became older. I'll give you a hint. The beginning of that description was slightly exaggerated. The Angel of Death. One of the only creatures known that was capable of settling the boundaries of heaven on earth. The only creature capable of making one of the Devil's darkest deals to my loving mother; a second chance for her daughter. This comes with consequences of course. Everything you know about Death is wrong. Death is not natural, Death is not normal, Death is not doleful, and Death is far from mercenary. Death blends into the shadows like coal against the most atramentous sky. Death walks the earth with his cursed, monstrous and exotic features, his enticing voice and betraying alluring eyes. Death deceives, scratches, and plays with your mind, until you slowly and painfully loose your grip on reality. He'll make you believe he's a different person, that there's a sliver hope for him. Hope for you. Death is close. Sam is the most promising swordsman among this year’s crop of Paladin trainees...and knows it. Brash, cocky, and unbeatable with a sword (well, almost), Sam is the kingdom of Thule’s best hope against the violence wrought by demons. The only problem is that Sam is really Lady Samantha, daughter of the seventeenth Duke of Haywood, and if her father has his way, she’ll be marrying a Paladin, not becoming one. But Sam has never held much interest in playing damsel-in-distress, and so she rescues herself from a lifetime of boredom and matrimonial drudgery. Pity that Tristan Lyons, the Paladin assigned to train her, is none other than the hero of her childhood. He hasn’t recognized her as Lady Samantha--yet-- but if he does, he’ll take away her sword and send her packing. Sam is not the only trainee hiding secrets: Braeden is a half-demon with a dark past that might be unforgivable. Sam, Braeden and Tristan set out for the western coast, charged with rooting out an infestation of demons that has made the West unlivable. As they travel, they uncover a deep-seated corruption of power that threatens to derail everything they stand for. Rebellion stirs, led by a rival faction of warriors who tempt Sam to join them with an irresistible offer. A war between men is coming, and Sam must pick a side. Will saving the kingdom cost her life -- or just her heart? Reminiscent of Mulan, but with a medieval fantasy twist, Paladin is a tale of adventure, action, and romance.

Like the Hunger Games series? Then you'll love ''Man Hunt'' When Alice awakes in a small, bare room with nothing more than a letter, a backpack, a change of clothes and some survival gear, she doesn't know what to expect. She has no recollection of how she got to where she is, or even where she is and she can't help but feel frightened about the whole situation. According to the letter addressed to her name, her parents signed her up for a new televised game show in which twelve teenagers will be split into two equal teams. The teenagers will then take part in a slightly modified version of a childhood game they are all quite familiar with for the chance to win a sum of €1,000,000 for every member of the winning team. When Alice meets the rest of her group, they soon realise that they are stranded on an island and they have no other option but to cooperate. They quickly find the instructions and map their team has been supplied with and are forced to begin a game which they fear is darker than it may seem. The twelve teenagers can't be any more different, however they must push their divergence aside and hope that they have what it takes to win the game and return home with the money that could change their lives forever. In a tale of adventure, action and deceit; do Alice and her team have what it takes to leave the island as champions or is there a more sinister fate in store for them? Is this really just a game as their letters describe, or are there darker forces at work behind closed doors?
