This is a compilation of poems I have written about different topics from mental health to suicide. Some of this content might be triggering for some people. I hope you like what I have written.

Our favourite stories are about heroes, about good triumphing over evil. We want to hear epic tales of selfless people performing great deeds and overcoming insurmountable odds. If that's the kind of story you're expecting, then you'd best get back to whatever alternate dimension you came from. They call me Trig. I'm a bounty hunter. My line of work might not be particularly honourable, but for a cyber-human outcast with a sizable chip on her shoulder (specifically, several thousand microchips) it's the perfect fit. In a galaxy full of pirates, rebels and thieves, an abomination such as myself is considered more machine than girl. My bionic appendages make me the ideal killer, the best you could ever be unfortunate enough to meet. At least, that's what I thought up until the day I made a single, crucial mistake. Now, the inhabitants of some half-baked planet are singing my praises and calling me their saviour. I could get used to this new, cushy lifestyle if it weren't for a pissed-off former employer gunning for both my head and total planetary domination. The fate of the universe hangs in the balance. If ever there was a time for a hero, this would be it. But I already warned you, this isn't that kind of story.

Almost a year ago, Olivia Shadowheart and Jason Frostsong had to figure out how to protect a city from its own possessed citizens without anyone knowing they'd had anything to do with it. They are Banshee and Cryophoenix--two of six Luminaries that save the Manifested from themselves when the Other takes their minds and turns them into twisted monsters bent on revenge. But like all Luminaries, Banshee and Cryo's true identities are a secret, even from each other. As the newest Luminary pair, not much is expected of them except to learn and train for their eventual responsibility in a few years but Banshee's got ambition. She's determined to be more than Olivia ever could, and with Cryo by her side, they find themselves in the middle of a battle they aren't ready for. Their lives, both civilian and Luminary, are about to collide. Leah is a Radiant, a dying race that is able to crystallise Light. Plagued for centuries by a parasite able to turn them into mindless monsters known as Lightless, the Radiant's homeland has been long since lost. Leah's seen what the parasite has done to her people's morale, and she's determined to be the one who finds the cure. Only the League of Light still challenge the expansion of the Lightless, but new recruits are growing scarcer, their Radiant blood thinner as the League struggle to maintain numbers. When Leah arrives with her Radiant features and the full ability to manipulate Light, not all of them see her as a blessing. There's a divide between the pure Radiants and the humans who can claim their blood, and with shadows in the League, Leah's going to have to wade through it all if she wants to find her cure. Everything has changed. Aris may still be the same girl, but now that she knows about her secret heritage. Sajen has made an announcement of making war with Earth. Not to mention the doubts lingering in Aris's mind about the loyalty of some of the other rebels. As the group try to find a way to stop Sajen, they soon learn there are new players on the field. Princess Ellwood chooses to stand up and fight, Tilan's sister, Thirrin, hunts the rebels relentlessly, and - as they all learn - Sajen doesn't seem to be working alone. Oh, and this minor little detail: Aris finally learns about her converged dragon. [NOTE:: First book is called "Finding the Rift." Second book is called "Truths in a Rift."]

Aris is on the run from the Empire. Aris and her companions are the only ones who know who the real traitor is. Aris now has to deal with the fact she's converged to a dragon. Needless to say, life has gotten even harder for Aris. The group finds themselves trapped in a rift in need, and they have to face the choice of helping the inhabitants or saving their own hides. The book Faril gave Aris has an unexpected twist, and Aris (unfortunately) has to figure out why. Worse still, a death amongst the group plays out. Aris is really tired of adventures.
