Then, Malia and Mal, as well as their friends Evie (daughter of Evil Queen), Hallie (daughter of Captain Hook), Carlos (son of Cruella De Ville), and Jay (son of Jafar) get a chance by Prince Ben to live in Auradon, which Malia isn't happy about when she gets the news. When they arrive in Auradon, all Malia wants to do is get the Fairy Godmother's magic wand and bring it to her mother. But there's one thing that has Malia struggling a little....her feelings for Jafar's son, Jay.
