A love story about a girl trying to figure out her sexuality. What will she do if her homophobic mom finds out she's in love with a girl?

Sloane Alexis is a young, naive teenage girl living in the big city with her dad, who is a well known actor. Sloane's father, Joseph, has recently come into contact with Sloane's mother, his ex-wife, Lyla. Lyla has had a track record with drugs and had left the family when Sloane was only 9 years old. Joseph has recently found out that Lyla has been clean for a couple of years now and is married to a pastor. Both Lyla and Joseph agree that the best thing for their daughter is to send her to the small town in Pennsylvania, where Lyla is currently living, in hopes that she doesn't make the same mistakes as her mother. Sloane goes from living a rebellious life to having to keep a job to earn the things she wants.
