Dear Mr Donald Trump, Because of my concern for America and the world at large,I am communicating to you through this forum.This concern has greatly increased since you won the GOP nomination and began to reveal ,in a more forceful manner,your misogynistic and xenophobic leanings,among other things.Your inaugural address had some frightening features,chief of which was your foreign policy of ''putting America first''.You alone probably know what you mean by that.Historically,over the last century ,America has pursued a global policy and consequently has emerged as a sort of global policeman.Are you saying sir,that you are going to change this? Any major paradigmatic shift in the world 's geopolitical composition can and will have far-reaching and even catastrophic consequences.It is my opinion,that such a shift as what you are proposing will make America weaker and China and Russia will be placed in a most advantageous position to take over the global economy.And who knows,with both of these countries nursing great and ''over reaching'' ambitions,certain countries will be theirs for the taking.China has already shown that she claims Taiwan(one China policy)and Tibet.Also she has built up islands in the South China Seas which are under dispute right now.As for Russia,Putin did not hesitate to annex the Crimean Peninsula and interfere in the internal affairs of Ukraine.His excuse in the Ukraine was that he had to look after the welfare of Russians in that country.Next might be Poland and other countries of Eastern Europe. It is in this context sir,that I leave you with the Yoruba Proverb:Tiko Ba Si Igi Le Hin Ogba Ogba Ma Nwo.Translation---If fence does not have props it will collapse.
