A lone figure on a cold night. An old friendship. A kind widower. What have they done? How do they connect? Love? Hate? Or perhaps another thing? Something dangerous. Something like -- insurrection. A fantasy-esque story (and a long one at that) set in the province of Salen in a country I'm sure you've never heard of -- I know I haven't. Please enjoy this original offering of mine and comment if you wish. Also, I beg your patience -- I'm not sure how faithfully I'll be able to update, though I will try my best to not leave you hanging for too long. Opinionated and observatory comments congruent with the laws of basic etiquette and general respect are welcome, all others will be ignored.

Main Characters For the 1970s: -Kalyani -Michael -Nelson -Jackson Family A first love is futile like the first snow flakes of a snowstorm. They are bound hit the ground and melt before any impact is seen. Yet as a first snowflake is needed to create the hills of white, so is that first crystal of true love. Necessary and futile. However, this tale is about love's resilience. "There have been others, but never two lovers like Kalyani and Michael." See how time brings two wonderful people with bright futures together, and how time tears them apart; how in each other's absence they gain all the success they dreamed of and more, yet what is most important, having that feeling that they have with each other, they cannot seem to find in anyone else. Michael and Kalyani "are joined by the bond of love and you cannot track that, not with a thousand bloodhounds, and you cannot break it, not with a thousand swords."

"Wear them to the party tonight," he said. "Of course!" The little golden horses dangled from their hooks. "Wear just them tonight!" I glanced over at him. He was more lying on the arm chair than he was sitting on it. "That would attract some attention, I'm sure! If I'm wearing just these, what will you be wearing?" He looked at me with a gentle smile that left me totally unprepared for what he said next. "A boner." ~~~~~ In winter 1990, Anna returns to Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch for the first time since leaving Los Angeles. For one and a half years she hasn't seen him.
