This year a lot of people both male and female have been shining light on and supporting mental health issues; serious issues that have always been overlooked. We're looking for the top 50 ways society has grown this year in placing importance on these issues. That's the first part, the first labyrinth. The second part is we're asking everyone to join in the writing fun, writing your way out of your labyrinth. It can be as short as 150 words and as long as 1500 words (or longer if you want!), just be vulnerable enough to answer this year's question:" What is your labyrinth and how will you escape it?" Rights and responsibilities is the 2014 theme of National History Day Contest, a broad topic. And I chose to write a just as broad topic of human rights. What are human rights? Is it to prove we're human? Prove that we're humans are right? Or to tell us apart from aliens? Though, now that I think of it, all extraterrestrial beings should have rights as well, but let's just have the Men in Black deal with that- But before getting off of topic, let's focus back on this.
