This is a Skyrim Fanfiction depicting the story of the Dark Brotherhood quest-line through the life of a male Nord called Ivarr...with a modified story line, of course. Ivarr is an adventurer by profession, Dragonborn by nature and good at whatever he does. He loves sneaking up on people and shooting arrows in their knees. But during one such adventure, Ivarr meets a young boy named Aventus performing a dark ritual called the Black Sacrament and gets pulled into a mysterious guild - The Dark Brotherhood and a new adventure begins.

A sequel to the first book, Down the Dark Path, Shadows of the Dark Path, seeks to answer the unanswered questions at the end of Down the Dark Path from the perspective of a new character in the same world. Back at Helgen, the twins Halund and Halvar, the sons of Hadvar the Imperial Warrior are witnessing their first ever execution. Explore the journey of Halund through the land of Skyrim as everything goes horrendously wrong in Helgen as Alduin appears and wreaks havoc on the village. Follow him on an emotional journey of great hardship and ultimately revenge....
