{Trigger Warning: self harm and suicide} Zoe recently attempted suicide because things just got a bit ... Too much. When she is taken to the hospital and put under 74 hour watch, she stumbles into Alfie on the way to the bathroom. She can't help but instantly fall in love with him and they grow extremely close during the three hours she is kept. Zoe is told, by her shrink, to write letters to someone anonymous as a way to express herself, and write them she does. But nothing ever seems to be able to end up happily ever after and Alfie has his own major secret he's keeping from Zoe.
