"Let's all have fun and play together" was the 10th and final pledge of the world of Disboard. Ace and Ash had always been confused with how everyone interpreted it, with how everyone manipulated, cheated, and lied to gain power through beautiful and what were supposed to be fun games. They no longer found enjoyment playing with other Imanity by the time they'd grown up, only finding joy playing with one another. What had been the point of it being a pledge if no one listened to it? When would they reignite that spark games brought them during their childhood again? They never thought that all it would take was another strange pair of siblings just like them to relight that burning fire in their very souls, nor did they believe that those siblings would lead them on a most extraordinary adventure that would go down in history.
