This story is the direct epilogue to "Uncovered Passions," but it's ultimately my dream ending for Katniss and Gale, and it's how I envision their future to any story where they end up together. All you really need to know is that Katniss and Gale got lost in the woods where the fell in love and conceived a child, and eventually came out and helped lead the rebellion to victory. Their son was born the day the Rebellion ended. His name is Reed Milo Hawthorne, and our story is picking up three and a half years after he was born.

Missing scenes from Catching Fire. Gale helps Katniss reclaim herself after the Games, and the self she reclaims is also interested in claiming him. This was supposed to be a Valentine's Day one-shot, but it didn't quite end up where I wanted, so let me know if you'd like me to continue.
