Acesta stie tot ce simte Rosalie, insa nu isi poate da seama ce simte el insusi. Harold Edward Styles este un adolescent in clasa a zecea a carui mama a murit cand el avea 14 ani, iar tatal sau ca sa reuseasca sa ii asigure un trai decent s-a inrolat in armata si pe harry l-a lasat in grija bunicii sale. Dupa 4 ani si jumatate harry a primit tulburatoarea veste ca tatal sau decedase pe front. El a incercat sa se focuseze pe scoala pentru ca stia ca asta a fost cea mai mare dorinta a parintilor lui, dar sechelele trecutului il macinau. Isi varsa durerea in tigari si sing urul sau amic era Jay, care si el de asemenea fuma. Harry a primit o bursa la o colegiu de prestigiu, dar incepuse sa nu mai invete asa de bine deoarece la acea universitate invatase si mama lui, asa ca devenise rebelul suprem si isi macina toti colegii de camera pana cand un tocilar, Louis William Tomlinson, avea de gand sa ii intoarca viata peste cap. Pentru o vreme, viata lui Harry si a lui Kath a fost linistita si au putut sa traiasca adevarata iubire adolescentina fara limite, la care visau. Insa lucrurile nu sunt niciodata menite sa ramana frumoase pentru totdeauna. Cei doi vor intalni adevaratele obstacole ale relatiei lor, care va ajunge mai aproape de destramare decat a fost vreodata. Vor deveni doi demoni, departati unul de altul de cei care cauta razbunare. Harry va fi aruncat intr-un joc in care miza e viata lui, insa singurul lucru de care ii pasa e recuperarea lui Katherine. Ingerul Salbatic ramane singur si inconjurat de disperare si confuzie. Katherine va face tot posibilul sa il aduca pe Harry inapoi si sa il mentina in jurul ei pe parcursul lipsei lui, aruncandu-se de data asta chiar in mijlocul lumii sale, creand pericolul de care Harry incerca sa o tina la distanta, doar pentru a nu pierde prezenta lui in jurul ei.
