Katniss Everdeen has won the 74th annual Hunger Games, but now she has to go back for the 75th's Quarter Quell, in which she will be up against previous victors and will encounter the mysterious and handsome Finnick Odair. But what will Katniss find in him? A partner? A friend? A lover? Or just an ally?

Katniss Everdeen's world has been shattered; her bond with Finnick Odair has been damaged by lies and pain, and seems to be beyond repair but, when these two find themselves in their darkest moments, will their common suffering be enough to bring them back together?
