What if Peeta and Katniss never teamed up? What if Katniss finds trust in the most unlikely person? When Katniss volunteers for her sister, her only thought is to make it back to Prim. But what if another tribute catches her eye? Can she survive the Hunger Games? Can she figure out her mixed feelings for Cato? From the book: "So I want to know what you think about something. " I say slowly. He looks up curiously. " What is it Katniss? " he asks looking into my eyes. I feel immediately guilty for what I am about to say, especially since he saved my life by giving me bread. "So I have been thinking this over in my head and it seems that this is the only choice I have in order to make it home to Prim." I start. "Katniss?..." He says. He doesn't like what I am saying and I haven't even gotten to the worst part yet. "I know you want to make it back home to your family and I know that you are a part of my District, but I need to make it home to Prim!" I say, tears threatening to fall, I feel awful for what I am doing. Peeta looked extremely worried by this point. "What's wrong? What happened- " I cut him off " I'm... I'm... joining...the careers."

It's just an ordinary day for octogenarian sleuth Myrtle Clover-until her yardman discovers a dead body planted in her backyard. This death isn't cut and dried-the victim was bashed in the head with one of Myrtle's garden gnomes. Myrtle's friend Miles recognizes the body and identifies him as Charles Clayborne... reluctantly admitting he's a cousin. Charles wasn't the sort of relative you bragged about-he was a garden variety sleaze, which is very likely why he ended up murdered. As Myrtle starts digging up dirt to nip the killings in the bud, someone's focused on scaring her off the case. Myrtle vows to find the murderer...before she's pushing up daisies, herself.

It's been 25 years since the second rebellion of the Districts failed against Panem. To celebrate the 100th annual Hunger games, each district will offer up 2 male and 2 female tributes to participate in the Hunger games. The twist is, the male and female tributes will be separated into 2 arenas, where the final 8 in each arena will be put together, to fight the death in the more challenging arena. Witness the games through the tributes's eyes, witnessing the heartbreaking and terrifying events they endure ************** I do not own the idea of the Hunger Games or any characters/places that occur in Suzanne Collins Hunger Games trilogy. I do however own my characters and ideas created in this book Devlam17

Hey guys, this is a Harry Potter/PercyJackson crossover! Here's the prologue( this won't be in the book): Sally Jackson, a young orphaned girl, was took in to the home of two magical beings, where she found out she was a witch. She was adopted by a witch named Laura Jackson and a wizard named Jim Jackson. They took care of her until figuring out her real father Voldemort. Sally went to Hogwarts and was placed in Gryffindor. She quickly befriended Lily, and they became best friends. Sally joined the order, and one evening told everyone about her father. No one believed that such a nice and brave witch could have such a horrible father. Lily and James never took that in consideration and when she was away to an order meeting, Harry was orphaned. No one trusted her, so she ran away to America. This is the story of her son, Perseus Jackson A/N: This is after Order of the Phoenix and Heroes of Olympus Sirius didn't die, instead Peter Pettigrew did! A/N: This used to be called 'Perseus Jackson, Voldemort's Grandson'
