The diary of a slave tells the story of Lily, who is set on winning freedom and justice for herself. ~~~ I wrote this in 5th Grade.

She flies where she's told to. And nowhere else.

Atenica had been split up into Four Tribes. Everyone thinks there is no hope of uniting them, until four teenagers from each tribe find themselves locked in the same room "by coincidence."

Welcome to the world of Ivy Lank. She's here every Saturday, sitting in the nearly empty coffee shop. Today is the last day she will ever leave her home. She just doesn't know it yet. "'That's what I'm doing, sitting here, sipping Joy, and holding on.'"

Waiting is an impossible thing to do...especially when you realize they're not coming back.
