Angelica was left alone on an island when she was 6. She is now 16 and knows that every ship that passes her island sinks, there is never anyone far enough from the dangerous rocks she can save, but one day a young boy (her age) swims away from a sinking ship that had just crashed on the rocks. Angelica see's the mysterious boy and swims as fast as her fins can take her to rescue him. When Angelica and the boy reach her island they quickly find out their feelings for each other, but will love be enough to over come the pain Angelica has been through? In Volume 1, Melanie arrived in Fairy Tail and made five friends: Natsu, Happy, Lucy, Gray, and Erza. Throughout the volume, Melanie becomes a S-Class Wizard, Gray becomes attracted to Melanie, and Melanie discovers that her parents and her family have been murdered by Zeref, a Spirit of Darkness, who was currently possessing Melanie's cousin, Daniel Kahoko. Melanie, along with a newcomer, Aurelie Celacia, her friends, and Fairy Tail, travel to Tenroujima Island to find Daniel, so this problem won't go out of hand. And so, they did. What will happen next? Will Fairy Tail finally be peaceful again or will another problem rise again?
