Daphne, AKA The Nymph, is a superhero. Except, well, she's kind of a sucky one. Antonio, AKA Firestorm, is a super villain. And, well, he's kind of a brilliant one. There's only one weakness that Antonio AKA Firestorm possesses, and unfortunately for Antonio AKA Firestorm, that weakness happens to be Daphne AKA The Nymph and her curiously bright blue eyes. So when Daphne AKA The Nymph finds herself in a sticky situation (in distress, you could say), it isn't exactly her Knight in Shining Armor who saves her.

If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction

A mysterious death. A life in the balance. When do the ends justify the means? John Watson wants nothing more than to head home to 221B and have a hot cuppa, but Sherlock Holmes has other plans. The famous composer, Rebecca Frost, has died. Her elderly butler insists she was murdered. Sherlock takes on the case, only to face the additional complication of Vivian Walker - the unexpected heir to the Frost Estate. Someone wants her dead, and it's up to Sherlock and John to protect her, whether the stubborn woman wants their help or not. But more than one danger threatens her life. Solving this mystery and keeping Vivian safe may prove their greatest challenge yet. Book One of the Hooked on a Feeling series *** This novel is AU, as it was written prior to the release of Sherlock Series 3. As a result, there is no Mary, Sherlock's parents are very different, and Moriarty isn't back. Sherlock has returned following The Reichenbach Fall, and he and John have repaired their friendship. There will be no romantic relationship between the two, only brotherly love between the best of friends. There will be bickering though. Loads of it. There will also be moments of angst, hints of a developing romance (Sherlock/OC), and of course an intriguing mystery. If that's your cuppa tea, then put your feet up and relax. You're in for a treat! You can expect a new chapter posted every Friday. Happy Reading!

Her name was Nova, and she was the world's first muggle-born Slytherin hopeful. Itching for Hogwarts high-jinxes instead of a crack fic time travel plot? Smoothies first, boys second. That was Taylor Oakes' mantra when she packed up her life and moved to the west coast with dreams of opening a smoothie shop. But it's hard to stay true to a mantra when you're faced with a beautiful, surfing, story-writing, smoothie-making hunk of a man.

ambrose natte littleray is just a typical four-year-old living in the early middle ages, occasionally working with her parents on their small farm and chasing her cat, wilma, around the house. all of this changes when she is introduced into a new world - one with magic. however, this beautiful concept comes with a price. where magic is pure, it is also evil, and ambrose has been chosen to be the one to stop the practitioners of the dark arts. working with death himself, she finds herself propelled into different eras of the muggle and magic world, and it is her job to make sure one does not hurt the other, and to stop the evil from overpowering the good in the wizarding world. ◦ disclaimer: i do not own any of the magical terms, creatures, and character names created by j.k. rowling. ◦ 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

#1 Mystery | #1 Thriller | #1 Young Adult Have you ever known someone more than you know yourself? Known them so inside out that you could finish their sentences and know what they're thinking, just with a glance? That was Casey and I. We were the ultimate best friends. We knew more than we should about each other. I was hopelessly and undeniably in love with him. I still remember the day perfectly. I wish I could say there was something to hint that it was coming. There was nothing. I thought I knew everything about him. Apparently not. He killed himself and a part of me died along with him. He was dead, and so was I. Or, so I thought. ** Cover by Reachingformorex ** © 2017 by LaurenJ22. All rights reserved.
