The life of Khushi Kumari Gupta was already in shambles, but the day she found out that her fiancée was, in actuality, the son-in-law of the family her sister was marrying into, was the day she felt truly devastated. Young lovers Khushi and Arnav are separated when Khushi leaves to pursue her career in a different city leaving Arnav disappointed by her betrayal. Five years later they meet again and old sparks begin to fly all over again even though Khushi is engaged to NK, Akash's cousin. However on the day of the wedding it is Arnav who ends up marrying Khushi. Can they get over the pain of their past and rekindle the love that they once felt for each other ?

When Khushi's sister Payal announces that she is pregnant and that she is unable to reach the baby's father, Khushi takes Payal and embarks on a journey from Delhi to Raisar in Rajasthan. There she meets Arnav Singh Raizada, the devastatingly handsome older brother of the man who is responsible for her sister's problem. As Khushi seeks justice for her sister, the arrogant Arnav refuses to allow them to met his brother and instead offers money to resolve the issue. Due to unavoidable circumstances Arnav is forced to offer shelter to Khushi and her sister at the Raizada guest house. As their attraction for each other intensifies, will they both be able to stand their ground in what they believe is right ?

" I married you just for my family but don't think I will ever love you " said Arnav with an angry tone. " Why didn't you say no ? " I asked him which sounded like a whisper. " I didn't have any choice.. " he said and left the room. And that's the last thing I heard from him before he left the room.
