Now that Cas is human, some things are a lot harder to do, but it has is plus sides. Feelings, for one thing, are both pleasant and not pleasant, except when they involve Dean. Nor Dean, Cas or Sam know whether Cas will ever get his grace back, and what is going on with Metatron in heaven. Luckily, they get some help from Charlie and a certain other angel. Together, they try to do what's right, and it leads them to doing things they never thought they'd be doing. Word count: 37k

25 year old Castiel Novak owns and works at the local café in town. He knows the small Kansas town like the back of his hand; it's his home. He knows the the regulars by name, what they drink, and the amount they tip. But, when a new costumer from out of town discovers his small, self-owned, Café, he realizes he didn't know everything as well as he thought he did. And, that includes his own sexuality as well as the new guy in town.

A routine haunting lands Dean in a historic hotel with his brother, a flirtatious Cas look-a-like, and a grouchy Angel of the Lord masquerading as his husband. (A Stonehenge Apocalypse crossover.)

As a cut off angel, it's hard to blend in with the normal crowd. However, Castiel is doing quite fine, outliving everyone else as a simple cashier at the local Gas 'n Sip. Sure, he may never understand humans, but it's a privilege to watch them go about their simple lives, while never progressing in his own. He just has no desire to; seeing that he hasn't found anyone worth falling - literally and metaphorically - for. Until. --- Just a fic inspired by a fanvideo. I don't own SPN, of course. Dean Winchester is nineteen years old and only a year out of high school when he gets sent to the hospital after a argument with his father. Nothing serious occurred, but Dean was required to spend the next few days under observation. While he is spending his time in the hospital of utter boredom, he meets Castiel, a young man the same age as him as a patient of cancer. Forming a quick bond, he begins visiting the boy even when he gets out, but is something more going on?
