With more swashbuckling magic, greater foes, and even greater twists of Fate, this is one adventure you won't want to miss. ******************************* A battle is lost. A pirate lay dying. And deep in the caverns of a moving island, a sleeping guardian is about to wake. With the life of a helpless child and the fate of the Secoran Kingdom hanging in the balance, Captain Marshall and McKinley the Marauder must pit themselves against an ancient force even more terrifying than an army of the dead. Their strength, their morality, and their willingness to sacrifice are put to the test in a pulse-pounding sequence of mysteries as they fight to uncover the truth and escape the malicious island of Mosque Hill with their lives intact. But their troubles have only just begun. War is coming to the Bannered Shore. And time is running out.

The Kingdom of Dracarr is scarred. Over three decades ago, hordes of magickal beasts known as Magus invaded the land. All was thought lost until a powerful wizard appeared. He created Rhokin: living dolls with powerful magick but also emotions. Though the Rhokin triumphed against the Magus, the creatures' threats have not abated. Now, the Rhokin are a permanent addition to the Dracarr Guard, but Guard member Sianna Rayoss places no trust in these soulless dolls. However, when her promotion partners her with one, she accepts him and her transfer to the Citadel in quiet anger. Her new routine is soon broken, though, when she stumbles into the savior wizard's mysterious quarters. He appoints Sianna on a journey to retrieve an item that will hopefully destroy the Magus threat in its entirety. She doesn't understand why she is given this task but accepts it. Accompanied by unlikely but familiar faces--and more Rhokin than she'd care for--Sianna enters the world of Ayodite, the birthplace of raw magick, powerful beasts, and dragon gods. ▶Scenes involving gore, sexual content, and strong language will be present in this story.◀ Cover by @Annany

Reiji is a cold loner with temper issues who reviles the world around him. Alice is a sheltered aristocrat suffering from social anxieties. A chance encounter had the two meeting one another. Can their romance blossom despite their debilitating pessimism and paranoia? A charming tale about breaking out of one's shell and maturing from adolescence to adulthood. Updated every Saturday! <---(But nothing was said about slight delays!) "This is probably one of the best things that I've ever read in the past two years along with The Fault in Our Stars, a few Vonnegut books and Redemption (the 2Million words long Mass Effect fanfiction which you will definitely love). Fresh and unusual humours, not so over-the-top drama, some "aww" moments that are hard to forget and an overall unique story; you really can mix those things pretty well into a 19 chapters (as of this writing) internet novel that I first thought would be like your usual lovey-dovey filled light novels which shows people kiss every 2 chapters but is actually a read that is quite unique for today's standard." -Some guy on the internet "This is a soothing piece of work. Experiencing the story through Reiji's and Alice's POV really brings it to life; I always thought slice of life is best written in first person. You managed to make me sympathetic towards them already, seeing how they go about their lives with their train of thought, personality, and all. The drama scenes when done well really have heartstring-pull prowess. Chapter (redacted) comes to mind, and Chapter (redacted) too. Your Edgy antics are as apparent as ever. I can definitely see how you intentionally make cheeky remarks and references regarding certain anime tropes and antics, yet I don't feel they hinder the story. The narration may read a little too explosive at times, but so far it's nothing that would take my eye off this story one bit. " -Some other guy on the internet
