"A Foolish Lie" is my submission to a short story competition by PenIt. Excerpt: As I clean my work desk, I hear whispers from the people in the office. I'm sure they're talking about my deception. I don't blame them. What I did was wrong and I regret it. I have formed good relationships with some people here. But because I fooled them, I don't think they'll see me as a good person anymore. You may be wondering, "What on earth did this guy do?". Well, it all started with a foolish lie... Hope you enjoy it! :)
