Cara Laurelhurst wants nothing more in this world than to disappear, but with the arrival of Phillip in her everyday life, that's about to change. Having a terrible childhood and bleak social life, Cara relies on her dog, Basil for emotional support with her toughest problems, including having extreme anxiety and forming a habit of not eating food around other people.
