Astrid Montgomery was not a child born from love. Spending her entire life on the Ark, locked away, in one form or another, she grew anxious awaiting her death. But when her, and 99 other criminals from the Ark are sent to Earth, her concept of life is warped. Especially when she learns of a twisted prophecy hanging over her head. While she navigates arising issues, she slowly learns more about herself, the prophecy, and the culture embracing those on the ground. Especially with Roan, the Prince of the Ice Nation and her egocentric mentor, at her side. Friendship, betrayal, grief, all slowly reforming Astrid from the bitter 17 year old on the Ark to a survivor on the ground. Slowly but surely, she realizes life itself is not at all what she pictured. UPDATE: On pause, working on the new chapters now! Hope to post new chapters by the end of August 2024 :)
