Lucifer has seen every kind of evil there is. He relishes in it, expands it, makes it consume every single person he comes across. What he hasn't yet seen is kindness, affection, humanity... Until a young, human girl accidentally lands in one of the cells beneath his castle. At least he was not the only one surprised by her arrival. Tara never expected to die so soon, and she certainly did not expect to get murdered. But most of all, what she absolutely did not see coming, was the one-way ticket to hell that sent her straight into the vicious arms of Lucifer, the devil himself. While secrets begin to unravel around her, and she begins to uncover the truth about why she's there, Tara's dangerous attraction to Lucifer grows. Their affair slowly turns into a beautiful battle between the two biggest forces, and it begs the question, what force is the strongest? Love or hate?

(COMPLETED | UNDER EDITING) Fresh out of college, Veronica Odair is hired as a forensic scientist at the infamous B.E.A.R. Laboratories. She is put to work on the classified Tekula Project, but certain events lead her to question her job. What is so dangerous about Level 5? Why do her tests come back increasingly strange? What secrets are B.E.A.R. Laboratories hiding? Veronica plans to find out. ▪▪▪ Brown eyes, nearly obscured by rich locks of dark hair, stare into my light green ones with an intensity which nearly causes my knees to wobble. I can hear nothing but the thudding of my heart beating wildly in my chest, the sounds of the sirens turning into white noise at the back of my mind. I back up until my spine connects with the elevator doors. I shiver as my bare arms come in contact with the cool metal. "Someone help me, please," I beg. The man stalks closer still. His eyes are fixed solely on me, unmoving, intense. His fists are clutched tightly against his sides, as though restraining himself in some way. Restraining himself from what, I don't want to know. The man stops only an arm's length away from me. I stare up at him with wide eyes, my lips parted in fear. I stand frozen, unable to move. I shut my eyes, turning my head away. Laboured breathing, the touch of fingertips on my bare shoulder, breath on my lips. A heavy, deep inhale. Slow exhale. A forehead against mine, shaky hands cupping the back of my neck, fingertips sliding into my red locks. My eyes open to meet the warmest pair of honey eyes. Cover by AnnaCharles16 #4 in ROMANCE? I can not think back on when the wolves made themselves known. Of course we learned of it in history but my brain was too packed of other useless facts and numbers that listening to the droning of creatures befell me. All I know now is they are known. I also know they kidnap girls from school and call it love.

Thea would say she "Isn't like other girls," if the phrase wasn't so disgustingly trendy. With a personality more salty than the Dead Sea itself, the attractive allure of a cactus, a peculiar hatred for feminist self-victimhood, and occasionally accidentally (as in totally on purpose) insults people, she is perhaps more old man than teenager. Now, taking Thea as she is and relocating her to a cliche, isolated town in Washington with supernatural creatures and a stereotypical high school makes for a rather interesting mix. Thea's perception of reality takes an insulting dive into uncertainty as the wannabe Sherlock Holmes discovers there is more to life than crappy parents, classic rock, and the TV show Supernatural. Stay tuned as Thea comes rifle barrel-to-snout in this epic journey to survive senior year, mythical creatures, and Feelings(TM). ~ ~ ~ Subscribe to TheAllieL Patreon for exclusive stories and content not featured on Wattpad and to support future works and book publishing! - Free Subscriber Tier - Allie's Library - Tier 1 - $2/month - Allie's Journal - Tier 2 - $5/month Subscribe here: Patreon.com/TheAllieL

"Do you have any idea how close fear smells to arousal?" He asked, his words making my breath hitch. "They both make your blood race in your veins and thicken your scent. It's making my mouth water little one." He spoke softly. Tears filled my eyes as horrible thoughts began to occur to me and I deeply regretted ever leaving that room. "Fret not my darling, I'm not going to take you tonight even though I so desperately want to. I won't force myself on you." He promised, but seeing as he had made another promise tonight that he had already broken, I had little faith in him. "Now hurry on up back to my room little mate. If I catch you out of bed again tonight, I won't let you go so easily." He said, pulling one more deep inhale before releasing me, stepping back. I could feel his eyes on me as I ran down the hall and then up the stairs, feeling hunted even though he wasn't giving chase. Credit for the amazing cover goes to @STESLARA

He had dark eyes, eyes that looked as chaotic and lively as a rushing river, but they always gazed at me with tenderness. Large, rough hands capable of destroying and causing immense pain, but he always touched me gently. He was tall, tall enough to loom over me but it only made his embrace feel that much safer. He was powerful, enough to use his status to get what he wanted but he never wielded it wrongly. All of that sounded lovely, but he was asking for too much, far more than I wanted to give. The price of my refusal however was too high. I would have to give in. Credits for the lovely cover go to @HellsTorturer

He was powerful. He was terrifying. Said to be cruel and unjust. Terrifyingly possessive. He had the world, but to him she was his world. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his miraculum.
