Because I love Darrick Fearghus with a burning passion, I decided to write a short story about him, detailing his life before he meets Levy in "Bound By Love". Here's a sneak peak into his life, and what it was like growing up under Astaroth's rule. Enjoy! :D

As is the nature of demons and angels. But, something keeps luring them back to each other, and neither one is able to stop it. Eventually, the two break the ultimate rule of both of their worlds: do not fall in love. Unable to stay away from each other, the two fall into a doomed romance. One which is more passionate than either of them ever intended--or that they care to control. When their secret gets out, along with an ancient evil that they can't face alone, will the two be able to stay together? Or will fate tear them apart?

Levy McGarden has lived in Fairy Tail for most of her life, hidden away there as the king's secret treasure. As if being princess wasn't enough, Levy possessed a special power--she was a living, breathing, gem of youth. When she is captured by the unknowing pirate, Black Steel Gajeel, she has no choice but to play along with her male persona in order to keep her identity hidden, or risk being sold to the highest bidder. {Pirate AU, because why not?!}

Book 2 Six months after the defeat of Elite Helix, mysterious attacks on dragon slayers have begun to worry the wizards of Fairy Tail--Levy in particular, who is concerned with Gajeel's safety. Despite their confessions to each other, it seems that nothing at all has changed between the two of them--apart from perhaps Gajeel's distance. After confronted about his feelings for Levy, Gajeel shrugs her off, assuming she would know how he felt about her. Unfortunately, things don't turn out the way either of them had hoped. When Levy is seen with a handsome stranger, how will Gajeel handle these new feelings that arise within himself? And how will Levy react to the affectionate stranger, since she has begun to grow tired of waiting on Gajeel to return her feelings? Follow Levy and Gajeel as they discover that being in love isn't as easy as they may have thought--especially when someone is trying to kill you.

Levy likes Gajeel, but she is convinced that he could never like a bookworm like her. Gajeel likes Levy, but he is convinced that he isn't good enough for her, and that he couldn't possibly hold such feelings for another person. In an attempt to push their feelings away, Gajeel acts totally indifferent to Levy, while Levy does the unthinkable—she goes on a date with a local bookstore employee! When something happens to make Gajeel realize that he can't live without Levy, will he be able to let her go, or will he fight to win her back? (I'm really bad at book descriptions...)

Gajeel and Levy may not have realized it yet, but they treasured each others company. They treasured each others personalities and sense of humor, knowing that no one could ever make the other as happy as they did. They treasured the love they had for one another. And all it took for them to realize was just to spend a little more time together. ~ Hey guys! So, just stating a few things; •All ideas are my own!
