Her brother Kaien took them to Konohagakure, the original home of their parents, and the Hokage allowed them to settle in. Fast forward four years, and now Kaien is dead. He'd attempted the same mission as their parents, and while his team completed it, he died in the process. But Kiyomi isn't alone. She still has her guardian Hachi, a retired Jonin who the Hokage assigned to look after her, considering she was nine. And of course, Fenrir is still there inside her.
