Galaxy is no ordinary bird. She is a morphbird, capable of shapeshifting. At least she was. Her magic stolen by a creature known as Fang, and with nothing to lose, she sets out with her friend Smolder to find the magic thief and get her powers back. However, her plans change suddenly when she meets Derecho, the last of the Torrent Dragons. She is determined to protect the hatchling, no matter what. But Fang is coming to kill Derecho. She originally set out to hunt down Fang, but her confidence wavers when she and her friends become the prey. Once without anything to lose, she stands to lose everything to the monster.
