Another prophecy, another quest. Seven demigods enrol as students at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry. They're hoping to help the wizards and witches defeat...well, they have no idea. The poor demigods get an overflow of homework and boredom (or not?) as they wait for something to happen. Camp half-blood is in chaos. Camp Jupiter just can't think straight anymore. Why? Because the only demigod son of Hades, Nico Di Angelo, is missing. No one knows where he went, why or how but they are determined to find him. The only person who seems to have an idea of his whereabouts is Hades but he has locked up the underworld and refuses to tell our heroes anything. Nico's sister Hazel is frantic and his boyfriend Will is worried out of his mind. But Hades can't throw the rest of the gang into this mess. No, it would be better if his son Nico does this on his own.

Hecate is worried. The demigod she sent to her pet world of witches and wizards has not returned. In her worry she goes to one she knows can help. She goes to the lord of the underworld. And takes the Ghost King.

Percy is betrayed by his friends at camp half blood, and unfortunately both his mother and step father were killed while he was in Greece. Not to mention that he was bitten and is now part werewolf. all Percy wants to do is be alone and free in his demigod/werewolf life. Unfortunately a certain goddess won't stop looking for him. Except for a certain annoying child of Poseidon, an annoyingly friendly child of Jupiter, an annoyingly peppy child of Hephaestus, and an annoyingly attractive child of Apollo. And things went a little smoother, until Nico was summoned by an annoying god of death, and a not quite as bad goddess of magic to go halfway around the world to protect three sort-of perfect strangers some from weirdo without a nose.
