This book is about Hiccup and Astrid and the rest at about 22 years old. But a new rider is coming with a surprise up her sleeve, or should I say Armor. Plus theirs a little bit of romance to. Read to find out more.

You and Hiccup were best friends when you little, the two of you did everything together, but something happened and you had to move to another island. After 8 years of living in misery on the island, your mom announces that you two are moving back to Berk. Once you move back, have your feelings for Hiccup changed, or does he want to stay friends?

This story takes place after the Netflix series Race to the Edge episodes 10 and 11, have dragons will travel pt 1 and 2. It is my alternate after ending and so on. The story does not follow season 2 and on of race to the edge. I know this is a horrible description but i suck at writing descriptions so... give it a chance.

(spoiler ahead) Also, this was written before Heather was revealed to be Dagur's sister, so i guess in this story Heather isn't his sister. River is abandoned by her parents on an island when she is six and left to live with dragons. She learns dragonese and is best friends with a Deadly Nadder named Kei. One day many years later at the age of fifteen, some vikings find her secret island- Hiccup, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, Snotlout, Fishlegs and Astrid. She begins to fall in love with Hiccup, but he's dating Astrid, who hates River's guts. BIG BIG NOTE: I do not own How To Train Your Dragon. Credit goes to Dreamworks/Cressida Crowell.
