Three girls starting at Maverick High. Each one has a unique secret that each keeps from everyone else they know. By fate, they were destined to be best friends: or worst enemies. Tsuki Hayashi is a sophomore at the high school, but her age is deceiving. Her eyes reflect more than she could ever know, and her cold elegance hides a storm. She's inherited the power of the moon, and she sees everything than happens in the night. But when she discovers the Sun and Star Guardians, she doesn't know what it will bring. (ATH) Alena Sandrum is also a sophomore at the high school. She inherited the power of the stars, beautiful and kind, but also distant. She finds comfort in her books and rarely speaks. But her eyes that absorb her surroundings and the words on the page, speak for them selves. Could these girls help her accomplish her destiny. Or destroy it? (AQ) Eliana Morane is an average sophomore, at least that's how she perceives herself. Sweet, bubbly and perky, her personality is just a ray of sunshine. Yet that metaphor may be a little more literal than she expects. When she learns that she is just a small puzzle peice in a bigger picture, she intends to meet her other fellow puzzle pieces, but they may not understand her light personality for they are shroud in darkness. (SLB) Note: None of the pictures inside or the cover belong to us. We will eventually be making art for our book, if it is successful.

Demary al Ghul is the daughter of Talia al Ghul. She's been trained for a long time with the League of Shadows. It just so happens that one day she realizes whose daughter she is. She sets off on a grand adventure with her newfound friends in the Team. But it doesn't last long... Apocalypse is returning. Update: Seeing as Season 3 is released, please note that this was simply my concept of what might happen after Season 2. This was written before the release of the new season. New readers enjoy! Disclaimer: I do not own any characters belonging to Young Justice. They are an amazing series and this is only a fan fiction. All my own characters belong to me.

'There, beside the cool pool, sat an old man. He sat, blanketed by the shade of an oak tree, in his small wicker picnic chair facing a sun-bleached wooden easel. Resting atop the easel was a new and quite large canvas.' I appreciate any constructive criticism you may take the time to provide.

'The Scelus had afflicted humanity for longer than anyone could remember. Even the international archives held no record of a time free of the terrible disease. Of a world without death. Unlike any other virus, it is not contracted from contact with an infected person and does not originate from a foreign source. No, it’s much more sinister than that.' I hope you enjoy this short story. I hope one day to fully revise it and use the concept as a full length novel/story so I would very much appreciate any criticism or thoughts you may have. Happy reading! August L. Raine
