it started when I was about 6 or 7. my older brothers were always listening to the latest songs. when Owl city's song fireflies came on the radio, my brothers became really attached to it so they listened to it all the time. when they played it so many times, it would get it stuck in my head. all I could ever remember was when he sang about leaving his door open just a crack and I would picture this in my mind. last year I was looking at my music on my phone, I thought that I needed better songs. I was not like my brothers and listen to all the popular songs on the radio, instead, I thought about some songs they would listen to. Fireflies popped I into my head so I looked it up. when I get the album on my phone I did not just listen to fireflies, but all the songs on the album. I started to love him and his songs so much! now in 2015 he released a new album called Mobile Orchestra. I guess I could say I've been a hootowl- for as long as I remember. :)
