Mia had seen far too much by the tender age of 11. She was abused and treated like an animal for most of her life. One day her mother beat her senseless which landed her in the hospital. Michael Jackson happened to be in NYC that day too, handing out toys to children at Mount Sinai. Fate had brought Michael to Mia, and he saved her in every way possible. Both Michael and Mia struggle to adjust into each other's lives. Michael being a single dad, tries his hardest to be the best father possible to his 4 children.
