[Pricefield] Life is Strange AU – Instead of Max not contacting Chloe when returning to Arcadia Bay, Max gathers up the courage to talk to her old best friend two weeks after her arrival. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Will parallel some events in the game but overall, this fic is meant more to be a focus around Chloe and Max's relationship.

You know the deal. Max Caufield has shocking time reversing powers. She could change history if she wanted to. She could, but she wouldn't without Chloe. Her hypnotizing blue eyes, and her badass personality are what drew Max closer and closer to her. But, one day she went too far. She wanted to save Rachel just for Chloe. She knew how much Chloe loved the deceased brunette. She wanted to help. She wanted to make Chloe happy, even if she wasn't the one holding her hand, kissing her softly and cuddling with her in bed. She wanted to see her best friend and long term crush happy. Happier than she's ever been.

This is a what if version of Life Is Strange. Fear not, everything isn't completely wacky in this one. But what if Rachel Amber had moved to Seattle instead of Arcadia Bay, Oregon? What if she'd met Max and they grew close? What happens when Max moves back to Arcadia? Rachel (sadly) still ends up missing. Chloe and Nathan still go to the girl's bathroom at Blackwell. And Max witnesses it just like she did before. How will she deal with her newfound time powers, or the strange butterfly she feels an unexplainable connection to? PRICEFIELD WILL HAPPEN IN THIS UNIVERSE AS Well!

She probably did nothing much, since she IS Max, and Max is afraid of her own shadow if it has emotions. She's damn scary thought if something gets in her way. warnings: strong language; blood.
