Draco Malfoy pushed past her to the ingredients cupboard in the potions room. "Honestly, how rude could you get, Malfoy?" She pushed him back as she reached for the bottle on the top shelf, but, found herself just ever slightly too short. "Need some help?" The blonde haired boy smirked as he looked her up and down - why was he still here anyways, "Seems like you're a little short." The brunette spun around and glared at him, "Yes, I've noticed that, thank you very much." she pulled out her wand, "Accio," the bottle flew down to her, "And no, I won't be needing your help." "Well, you did say that I was acting rude so I was just offering my help." He shot her a half smirk half smile and walked off to his bench. There was something about that smile that was somewhat genuine, it was a playful smile. Not the hateful smirk he used to give her every time they saw each other, even when they were still kids, no. It was different and Hermione hated it. She hated the way if made her want to smile back, the way it made her want to grin inwardly to herself or the way it tinged her cheeks a rosy colour. Well, it's been fifteen years since the Marriage Law, and now someone has begun to destroy what was meant to last forever. Why could she not remember? Hermione wakes up in the hospital wing at Hogwarts with Ron holding her hand. Her last memory is of him leaving her in the cold forest alone with Harry and her heart breaking. He offers her a reason for her lost memories, but something about the story doesn't ring true for Hermione, though Ron seems to believe it. Hermione is faced with more questions than anyone is willing to answer. Though Harry encourages her to try to move on with her life, those lost memories still affect her heart and she doesn't understand why. She will do anything to figure it out. Even accepting help from an unlikely partner. Life takes many different twists and turns as Hermione Granger has to make decisions about her future and what she will do when she leaves the sanctuary of Hogwarts. First, she needs her memories back. The story that she is told about what happened during the time she has forgotten doesn't feel right. Though everyone tells her the same story. Hermione has to know why her heart seems to remember something completely different than what others have told her has happened. Please give me feedback and vote!!!
