Love has always been so beautiful. Love has always been so endearing. So exhilarating. So enchanting. But love was also corrupting. So dangerous. So delicate and fragile that one wrong move can leave everything and everyone in flames. Love can leave everyone hurting. Love can break you or make you. Love can give you everything and leave you with nothing in the end. And love demanded sacrifices. It has secrets. It has lies. It has motives. You can tolerate the wrong and the bad. You can just choose to ignore it. But when it wants to strike, it finds you. It chases you. It breaks you. It rips you apart, piece by piece. Every part of you. From body. To soul. To mind. To every crevice of who you are. Until it leaves you open, bleeding, and dying covered in your own blood, innocence, and naivety. And I gave my all. I gave every part of me. Every breath and every beat of my broken heart. Everything. And yet all the same, I'm left just tad bit too broken. Broken. Broken. Broken.

Salme, a young woman from Great Britain, has only ever wanted to please her parents. Her obedience is tested with fire the day she is told she is told that she has been promised to the brutish son of a baron, and does not refuse, despite herself. But one day, Salme awakens - panicked and confused - on the floor of the Bifrost, a gate between worlds. To her unbelieving eyes, she is greeted by a group of men who call themselves "the Warriors Three" and tell her that her life is about to be changed forever. "At Home in Asgard" is somewhat of an adventure that takes events from the comics but takes place in the universe of Marvel's 2011 masterpiece "Thor".
