The Northern wastelands seem to stretch miles and miles without any sight of civilization. Unless you know where to go. Within the wasteland lies a people that weren't mentioned and are almost forgotten. A people who know how to survive in the harshest condition and can fight the biggest beasts. A people known as the Dark Elves.

Everything seemed to be at peace until she was taken from under their noses during a simple minded game of hide and seek. The two brothers searched for hours trying to find their beloved baby sister, but to no avail. She had been taken and they did not know by whom. The hearts of many were broken when the brothers returned and they they felt an almost wrath from their uncle. "How could you lose her?! HOW?!" He bellowed at the two princes. Kili could no longer hold back his tears as he was held by his weeping mother. Fili on the other hand refused to let them fall and swore that he would find her, if it was the last thing he did he did not care. Lili was scared and confused when she woke to a diminutive, dark, dirty and damp cell. She was shackled to the wall and had no idea of what had happened. All she had remembered was two faces, filled with joy and laughter as they chased her around and she felt happy upon recalling the memory of the sun shining and happiness radiating from her and the two older boys. Little did she know that would be the last of the two she would experience for many years to come. But when she does she never expected it to come from a human boy who looks to be little older than herself. Her One.

Cassandra is a trained assassin, knight and a personal bodyguard to Lord Dain of the Iron Hills. What happens when she receives a letter from Dain's cousin Thorin Oakenshield asking for her to accompany himself and his company of dwarfs on their quest to reclaim their home, Erebor. A small smile made itself present on her face as she looked at him, a twinkle of mischief evident in her eyes. She had no memories, no indications that told her who or what she was. Her name is Elarinya, she is the daughter of Aragorn and Arwen. She was raised with her two sisters and brother. She was different then them, she was the only child that took on Arwen's elven traits. She was the only child who was an elf. She spent most of her days exploring and learning many things from her mother, she was her mother's pride and joy. She was also her father's little girl. Her father took her on many of his journeys. She was taught the elven ways and had many qualities of a human. She grew in grace and beauty, loved by all who have met her. She loved it when the Fellowship would visit, she enjoyed all of their company and was close to them. But she was very close to her fathers elven friend, the Prince of Mirkwood, Legolas Greenleaf.

Adrianna is the niece of Galadriel and the daughter of an Elf and Dwarf. She was blessed with the gift of foresight like her Aunt and so decides to help Thorin Oakenshield and his company. What she doesn't expect is to meet the handsome face that has plagued her visions on a regular basis. What will happen when she finds out who he is. Will love blossom or fade into darkness. As Thorin's disapproval, and Gold sickness interfere. Can Kili and Adrianna hold onto there growing feelings or will the war separate them forever?

Ashrin, a young lady, half elf half dwarf, is joining the company of Thorin Oakenshield. She has the keen seances and beauty of an elf, and the strength and hight of a dwarf. She will help the company in their quest to reclaim a homeland, and might also find love.
