Carmen has a dark secret that she guards with all her being. Ever since the day in 1840 she discovered her Curse, she was on the run since. Now, Carmen struggles to lead a normal 'teenage' life, despite the fact that she is hundreds of years old. As she begins to build walls around herself, Ioan, the handsome boy from school, tears them down. Carmen tries to resist falling for him, and exposing her secret. But can she trust Ioan with this? Or can she even trust herself to keep it?
