Izaya Orihara disappeared for six months, only to be found bloody, broken, and beaten in the streets of Ikebukuro by a shocked Shizuo Heiwajima. He's forgotten everything, now only a shadow of himself. Just what happened to him while he was gone? And why is he so nervous about being touched?

When a mysterious group is targeting Izaya, there's usually nothing to worry about. The informant, though, hasn't been able to find a single thread of information about his attackers, and they're getting closer by the hour. The stress and anxiety has proved punishing to him, leaving him in a poor state. Shizuo finds himself getting involved in the problem somehow, but is he enough to handle the mob of threats?
