πŸ†Wattys 2019 Winner for Mystery & ThrillerπŸ† Sister Mary has lost her way, or so people think. Kicked out of her convent and sent away to be reformed, this jolly nun discovers her gift of glee is perfect for solving murders and the occasional naughty peek. ________________________________________ Merry Sister Mary is the world's most happy-go-lucky nun, and where the nuns are concerned, possibly the worst. She has none of the qualities reserved for a traditional lady of the cloth: a fear of water, an odd relationship with an umbrella, and no talent in teaching or nursing, yet Sister Mary believes she has a special God given power, laughter. Such a belief has led her to be kicked out of her convent in Chicago for accidentally flashing a group of churchgoers and deemed in desperate need of reform. She is sent on a bus to a stricter convent in New Orleans, Louisiana, but in a drama fueled twist, God has different plans for the joyous nun. She is to solve a murder. After missing the bus Sister Mary is forced to seek refuge with a Catholic family in the small town of St. Francisville. A horrific murder occurs sending the town into a frenzy of bittersweet joy. The person killed has long been despised and so named the Stanton Witch for the mystery surrounding her husband's death and the decades of misfortune since her arrival. In an effort to expose the truth, Sister Mary finds herself in the middle of one family's terrible and insidious secret. As the bodies pile up she uses her gift of glee to uncover the clues missed by the police and hopefully stop the killer from claiming another innocent victim. Her goal-- prove to the world once and for all that one does not need to be traditional to make a difference. Alacrimia in Layman's terms is the congenital inability to produce tears. Some places in Africa have their norms and beliefs wrapped around age-old, blind superstitions. Especially the rural communities. So when a young girl comes from the city to the village, and it is discovered, through a series of unfortunate events, that she won't cry, even when induced, things take a downward spin for her, as she finds herself from Osun State to Kogi State, and then Enugu State. Giwa Falade is the ruthless Queen Bee of Castron High. Known for her sassy, bold, no-nonsense attitude and awfully feared, absolutely dreaded by the entire student population, for this very reason. Giwa loves what she does, instilling fear in people, and she obsesses over this fear, feeds on it like it is her food and water. Coupled with a bad past and an overwhelming struggle going on within herself, Giwa's decision to protect herself creates her messed up obsession and craving for fear. However, all may not always be exactly what it seems on the outside. When 'hard girl' Giwa falls in love, it seems surreal. She starts to connect with people she wouldn't see eye to eye with, and a forming bond between her and the school hunk unravels the mystery behind her twisted mindset. However, this also brings in a truck load of unwanted drama, hidden secrets, deep betrayal, and worse, more flawed teenagers who keep making even worse decisions, and intertwining into her story, causing the so awaited final year of High School to turn from bliss to a never ending nightmare. Even worst, Giwa Falade, Miss Queen Bee, pulls herself right into it. All in all, these teenagers are in for an experience of a lifetime. And what happens when everything becomes a drastic, dead end for Giwa, filled with tears, regrets, broken friendships, relationships, losses, and the painful, unattainable wish to take back the hands of time? What happens to the lives of the other flawed teenagers, like Giwa, who unfortunately get mixed up in her mess and pay for the consequences of their own actions? πŽππ„ π–πŽπ‹πƒ π’π„π‘πˆπ„π’ 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊 πŽππ„ (1) 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒅 "𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 π‘³π’Šπ’•π’•π’π’† π’•π’‰π’Šπ’π’ˆπ’”" 𝒐𝒏 26/5/2020. π‘π’Šπ’π’Šπ’”π’‰π’†π’… "𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 π‘³π’Šπ’•π’•π’π’† π‘»π’‰π’Šπ’π’ˆπ’”" 𝒐𝒏 29/12/2020 #507 in Teen Fiction

He does something I don't expect. He tucks some cash in my hair bun. Then he enters his car and runs over my bike. Twice Two fucking times He then winds down his window and says "I just saved you the stress of riding that contraption ever again. Use the money I gave you into good use and buy yourself something nice" Now I see red. How'd he expect me to get home. And I do something crazy I carry the broken seat of my bicycle. Luckily the metal which attaches the seat to bike comes of with it. So I use to metallic part to break his side mirror and create a dent on the part of the car where the scratch I made was very visible. I drop the seat on the hood of his car. I see his shocked expression morph into rage and I stalk into school before the teachers start arriving. I don't miss the look of shock on everyone faces. ******************************************* Julio and Karyn are so similar yet so different but what happens when unexpected circumstances draw them together. ********READ******** ********FOLLOW***** ********SHARE*******

Chizaram's life is simple. There are only three things that matter to her. Number one is her Family, which is also the most important. Number two is the not very strict, not very adhered rules that her parents have put in place for her and her siblings And number three, trying her best to be a good person to everyone around her despite the blatant rudeness of the people in her life. When things around her begin to change she is forced to see that sometimes families separate, and rules are just things that tell us how to live our lives and sometimes we end up doing more harm than good to those we intend to help. Sometimes doing good things doesn't make us good people, just like doing bad things doesn't make us bad people. Life is no more black and white...at least to her not anymore. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° This is a work of fiction.
