11x featured wattpad story. Before everything, it's assumed there was nothing, but what if there was no real difference between the two? Just two extreme philosophies from the first conflict. The planet Huom has been under observation for longer than should technically be possible. The primary watcher, a bitter black hole, is excited to see that there is finally a proverbial Darkness at the end of the tunnel. Meanwhile, on the planet, in the freezing mountains of Empris, Lyeasrakardsul, the oldest living sorcerer, suffers from devastating nightmares. At the same time, far away in the sandstone desert of Zenon, Herschel, a man filled to the brim with weird ideas is escaping a prison filled with strange old men. What does all this have to do with arsehole Gods, hairy Dwarfs, frustrated Afreets, curious Knomes, lizard-women, and nude Áettar? Perhaps Nothing, perhaps Everything... but why can't it be both?

"Whatever women do, they must do twice as well as men to be thought half as good." This is the quote Yvonne James, CEO, James-Carmichael and Co. lives by. A self made woman, she is poised, cunning, hardworking and at times, ruthless. All her life, she has spent working hard, amassing massive fortunes and taking her dynasty of industries forwards, but has been missing out on simple pleasures of life. Kyle Crawford, an innocent, ambitious young journalist is struggling to make ends meet. When he ends up on his boss' bad side, he knows there's only one way he'll get to keep his job: an interview with Yvonne James, the woman who has been the object of his fantasies since a long time. When they meet, he realizes her life isn't as rosy as it seems. ************************************ This isn't just a story about a rich woman meeting a man and falling in love. It is an emotional journey exploring love and friendship, challenging gender stereotypes and roles society has defined for us. The characters may be quite unexpected and some parts may be disturbing to some people, I'll make sure I put up a warning before any such part. *The male protagonist is FAR from the usual ruthless, dark and brooding alpha male who protects women. If the thought of a CEO story without such a male character makes you uncomfortable, please don't read any further. Cover by @tenress. She makes awesome covers! The book is still a work in progress with irregular updates. Thank you for bearing with me :) #ProjectWomanUp #FreeTheBoy

I glare at him, yanking at the bonds. He laughs softly. "Oh princess, you're so delicate. Do not struggle, we wouldn't want you to break, would we?" He whispers. I snarl at him but he's right, I'm sick and weak at the moment and the cold rain isn't helping matters. I turn away, coughing and choking on blood, but swallow it quickly, not wanting anyone to know my state. He smirks slightly. "Why are you so cruel?" I ask curious at his behavior. In the Castle I was kept away from the outside world by my parents, who told me of the dangers that lurk in it. However the servants and the cooks, who lived outside the protective wall of the Castle, always seemed like good people. "Cruel," he scuffs. "I am not cruel. Your kind is. Sitting in your castle, while families starve, homes burned to the ground because the blasted taxes are too high to pay. Cruelty, my dear Princess, is a word you and your family are all too familiar with." His words felt like a slap in the face. He can not be speaking truth. The kingdom loves my parents and they would never allow their people to starve. #384 in Historical Fiction 3/27, #361 in Historical Fiction 3/28, #312 in Historical Fiction 3/30, #291 in Historical Fiction 4/8, #287 in Historical Fiction 4/9, #285 in Historical Fiction 4/10, #265 in Historical Fiction 4/24, #256 in Historical Fiction 5/7, #225 in Historical Fiction 5/13. #218 in Historical Fiction 5/15, #119 in Historical Fiction 5/17, #112 in Historical Fiction 5/26, #95 in Historical Fiction 5/27, #83 in Historical Fiction 5/31, #67 in Historical Fiction 6/1, #53 in Historical Fiction 6/15, #26 in Historical Fiction 6/23, #20 in Historical Fiction 6/25, #16 in Historical Fiction 6/26, #13 in Historical Fiction 7/2, #10 in Historical Fiction 7/8, #5 in Historical Fiction 7/10, #12 in Historical Fiction 9/2, #13 in Historical Fiction 9/4, #7 in Historical Fiction 9/5, #5 in Historical Fiction 9/6, #7 Historical Fiction 1/8
