Six teens are devoted to a game with one rule: If a player gets tagged, they must change their life within the next fifteen minutes. The better the player, the bigger the change. One might give their car away, or punch the school bully. Another might change identities or sacrifice their virginity. Anything to keep evolving, to avoid fitting into a label or caring about the junk they own. But their quest for enlightenment has taken a rotten final turn - one of the players has murdered the game's creator, the teen prophet (cult leader?) David Bloom. Our narrator is being framed for the crime; can he clear his name and discover which of his lifelong friends is the murderer before he takes the fall? [sic] is a gritty teen murder mystery that delves into the psychology of enlightenment among the criminally dysfunctional.

[Formerly Featured/Award-Winning Novella/#2 in Horror] There is something eerie about this village -- this hole of silent, maddened people. In 1922 my Papa told me of a faceless entity that lurks amongst us in our isolated slice of Russia. The locals have kept this horror alive for a century, though the only ones who claim to have seen the Folveshch have succumbed to a life of sightless silence. My name is Stefan Alyovich and the people around me are changing. They slip into worsening madness every winter, and I ask myself: how much longer before I'm the only sane one left? ... The only one left alone with the Folveshch. ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟- ↟ • 21,000 word novella • Rank #2 in Horror • Rank #4 in Mystery • Horror winner of Greatbelt U.F Award 2015 • CBY October Book of the Month 2014 • The Cryptic Awards Best Horror Winner 2017 • Wattpad HQ Winter Escapes Reading List • Wattpad HQ Stranger Things Reading List • Fright Top Horror/Featured Horror/Stranger Things Reading Lists • Mystery Paranormal Mystery Reading List • ThePurgeMovie Urban Legends Reading List • TheGallowsMovie Best of Thrillers Reading List • Blairwitchmovie Top Horror/Thriller Reading List • OuijaMovie Top Horror Reading List • IncarnateMovie Top Horror ↟- ↟ - ↟ - ↟- ↟- ↟ - ↟ - ↟ - ↟- ↟ - ↟ - ↟ - ↟ - ↟-

Elias refuses to let another city die. Every city is a tale of blood, sweat, tears, work, hope, dreams, and people. People who created this world, with soil-caked fingers and soot-stained faces, or with pristine dresses and shirts. Every city has a story. He's not going to let that disappear.

Angie Jones is poor. And not the cute "I wish I could afford Prada" poor, but rather the "a notebook or a sandwich?" kind. But she has a plan. She'll study hard, get a full scholarship and go to college. Then, maybe she can land a job which would allow her to help her family more. But her dreams of a perfect GPA shatter when her biology teacher decides studying won't be enough to pass his class. Enter Tom, a mysterious DJ who knows everything there is to know on the subject. And as an added bonus, he offers to tutor Angie for free. If only he wouldn't be so much fun and so damn good looking. Tom didn't know he had a generous bone in his body, and yet he offered one of his few free afternoons to a total stranger. One he's getting much too attached to after his recent brush with lost love and drama. There's just something about her, a mystery he needs to unravel that goes beyond her beauty. And it's deeply seeded in her refusal to relax around him or anyone else. The closer they come to each other, the more complicated their lives get. And when the truth finally comes out, all hell breaks loose. After all, it was nothing but a wrong impression. 🔱🔱🔱 Warning: This is frustrating poor people bad romance. How far will teen girls go for approval from their peers? Pretty far, it turns out. When pretty, smart Sara Long is found bludgeoned to death, it's easy to blame the man with the bat. But when Georgia Davis -- former cop and newly-minted PI -- is hired to look into the incident at the behest of the accused's sister, what she finds hints at a much different, much darker answer. It seems the privileged, affluent schoolgirls on Chicago's North Shore have learned just how much their innocence is worth to hot-under-the-collar businessmen. But while these girls can pay for their newly gotten Prada pricetags, they don't realize that their new business venture may end up costing them more than they can afford. I'll post chapters one at a time, but if you just HAVE to find out what happens before they're all up, here's where you can buy the ebook (It's also available in paperback and audio, btw): http://amzn.com/B001UE8J4Y https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/easy-innocence/id586071761?mt=11 http://store.kobobooks.com/en-US/ebook/easy-innocence

"To every action there is always opposed an equal action, or, the mutual actions of two bodies upon each other are always equal, and directed to contrary parts." Without darkness, one cannot know light. Without prejudice, one cannot know justice. Without felons, one cannot recognise a righteous man. Yet the border in between contradictions are ambiguous, never distinct, this can be the fault to everyone's mind. Illogical deaths are reported around England. From unreasonable suicides to unexplainable murders, the police uncovered a link in between the gruesomely murdered victims yet it only led them astray from the truth. Amidst this frustrating confusion, Scotland Yard is forced seek assistance from a resigned professional - the best and worst help they can get in situations like this. "Truth is ever to be found in simplicity and not in the multiplicity and confusion of things." Rated M for mature audiences. Involves descriptions of corpses and rare coarse language. This book is in the process of been rewritten, but the old chapters will be up there until I replace it with new ones. It's also my first book, so I would love to hear what you think about it. :) Update: I removed the old chapters just in case it's confusing. It also gives it away a little...
