When culture tells us what is appropriate, we accept it as the "views of the time". However, when do we, as human beings, draw the line of this popular acceptance? When--after we have questioned the structures of society--do we begin to stand up for our findings and challenge authority? Metro Riverton, a highly intelligent, dramatically arrogant teenage boy, is faced with these questions when he begins to think critically about the society he lives in. Is it fair to categorize people into the class they were born in? Should society be allowed to assume a person's strengths, weaknesses, and intellect based purely on their genetics and the caste of their parents? Take a journey with Metro--the famed "super kid" of his time--as he developes strong friendships, learns of new enemies, and discovers himself. Who knows? Maybe you'll find Metro has allowed you to open your own eyes--thinking critically and questioning your previous beliefs like never before. +-+-+-+-+ ❥ Thank you to my friend @-ariarose- for the lovely cover. ❥

(On Hiatus) Ashten Drake. With no recollection of how he'd gotten to where he woke up, shaken to consciousness by a stranger, this boy must trust his faceless savior to escape his unknown fate. She insists for him to follow her. Even though she wears the uniform of the enemy, she claims that they are after both of them. Not giving a second glance behind them, Ashten follows this girl, whom becomes known as Leeh, to an active Rebellion among the floating islands, fighting against the government of Elites that have ruled the remaining human populace for over seven centuries since they had saved humanity from extinction. All the while fighting alongside the Rebellion, Ashten is struggling with a battle of his own. A strange man keeps resurfacing in his dreams. With amnesia and curiosity of his own past weighing him down, Ashten finds himself wanting more than anything to figure out who this man is, and why his dream self cares so much about him. That is, all before they come, a group seeming to also be at odds with the Elites. But an enemy of the enemy may not always become a friend.
