Do you know what the word autism means? Autism is a neurological disorder. It is not contagious. It affects different people in different ways. Some children lose their language skills. Some lose motor skills. It is so strange that no one knows much about it. No one knows the cause, and no one knows the cure. My little brother was diagnosed with autism at age 2. The Doctors put a label on him. "Autistic." That word does not define my brother. He is smart, adorable, funny, curious, and so much more. This book is about what autism means to me.
